The principle for automated connection of mechanisms and its realization

Abstract: The problem roomage for automated connection of mechanisms in intelligent CAD for mechanical kinematics scheme was divided into kinematics function request and function quality request in this paper. Through computer reasoning, two mechanisms that are compatible in connection and can satisfy the needs for kinematics characteristic after connection were acquired. Then a decision whether the mechanisms are connected is made by man according to the information of their function qualities. Under the guidance of the thought, author explored principles and methods for automated connection of mechanisms, which can be identified by computer, and applied these research results to software development for automated synthesis
of mechanisms. It was realized that two rigidity mechanisms were reconnected automated.
