出口結構對方形旋風分離器性能影響的數值模擬研究

摘 要:利用CFD技術模擬研究了排氣管結構對矩形進口方形旋風分離器的阻力和分離特性的影響機理。其中氣相模型采用雷諾應力湍流模型(RSM).顆粒相采用隨機軌道模型。首先將計算結果與實驗數據作對比,表明模型計算結果可靠。結果表明,分離器內部排氣管和分離器壁面間的區域為強旋湍流區,靠近分離器壁面和排氣管壁面的區域旋流強度較弱。方形的排氣管結構使方形旋風分離器的效率提高而阻力降低。其原因是改變排氣管的結構影響分離器內的流動特點和湍動能的分布,從而影響了分離效率和阻力損失。排氣管下方的分離器錐體區域出現回流.排氣管為圓管時回流的范圍和速度較大.導致小顆粒易于隨氣流向上運動進入排氣管逃逸.使分離效率較小;且排氣管為圓管時分離器內的湍流動能也較大,是造成阻力損失較大的原因。合理設計分離器的出u結構以改變分離區的湍動能分布是減小能蕈損失的著眼處。

Numerical simulation of the effect of gas exhaust configuration oil the performance of square cyclone separator

Abstract:In this paper,we are going to present a CFD numerical simulated model on the effect of gas exhaust configuration on the pressure drop and separation efficiency of a square-type cyclone separator.In conducting our research,we applied Reynolds Stress Model(RSM) to simulate the turbulent flow of gas phase and arandom trajectory model to simulate the particle motion.Comparing the numericol results on velocity,grade separation efficiency and pressure drop with the experimental data,the present model and the numerically simulated method are both fit for the simulation of the separator.The numerical results also show that the flow field in the cyclone includes a strong swirling region between the exhaust exit and the separating wall with a weak swirling region near the separator wall.The results of our experiments also indicate that the separation efficiency could be increased with the pressure drop decreased when the gas exhaust configuration changed from acircular tube to a square duct with the same cross section.The chief eau$e leading to the change is that the gas exhaust configuration did influence the distribution of the re-circulation and the local turbulent kinetic energy of the gas phase remains below the gas exhaust inlet inside the cyclone.When the gas exhaust configuration is a round tube.the re-eirculation would take more space and the upward velocity tends also to be higher than those when the gas exhaust configuration is a square duet,which made the small particles move up to the gas exhaust exit and then run out into the open air.The local turbulent kinetic energy of the gas phase also proves higher for a circular gas exhaust than that for a square-shaped outlet exhaust.Since the turbulent movement takes up the energy from the main air current,it would lead to the drop of the pressure.Therefore,a reasonable design of the gas exhaust configuration is the key to achieving a square cyclone separator with low pressure drop and high separation efficiency.
